Biografía del autor M. Sasek was born in 1916 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. An author and illustrator, he is best remembered for his classic stories on the great cities of the world. He died in 1980.

: Customer reviews: This Is Venice (This Is ~ My children are 5 & 8. I really wanted them to like this book because I think it's interesting but it wasn't able to hold the kids attention. Just to get an understanding - we have a library of over 3,000 books - there aren't many we don't like but this book is more like a history lesson rather then a story which I think the kids were expecting.
